It has been to long since my last post and I am finally able to take the time to get back to posting the amazing fashions of SecondLife.

I went shopping with my husband searching for a place to buy good quality menswear in Secondlife, and though the choices are growing, they are still so slim compared to what women have to choose from. So searching on the new Market Place, I stumbled upon a brand I had not gone to before, so I tp’ed over to the in world store. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I spent way to much money on myself!

Some VERY cute clothing for women and men are at your very fingertips!

I had the greatest privilege to speak with the designer, Giz Seorn, which I have to admit I was a tad excited. She was so gracious and so helpful putting some of her designs in fat packs for me so I could buy all the colors. I asked her if she had anyone blogging or advertising her creations. I told her a bit about my blog and showed it to her. I sent her my info for her Manager to look over and I got a great outfit to blog for you today!

So today, after the holidays and being ill, I bring to you this cute and energizing jogging outfit. Perfect for those runs in the park or lounging days at home. A cute short crop jacket with hoodie, hugs the body gently while exposing the shiny silver bikini bottom, perfect for after you jog so you can jump into the pool.

Finesmith Jewelry Design by Yula Finesmith will try to challenge all the models out there to put your styling abilities to the test!

Are you up for the challenge?
“Finesmith Style about….” a challenging styling contest held every week at FRIDAY mornings 9amslt. The contest will run for 10 weeks and every week there’s one unique theme that will test your creative stylings! Research the fashion and art styles using exclusively the Jewelries from Finesmith Jewelry. Create that one breathtaking look that will take you to the finals. Interpret the theme into your own vision and let us see it on the runway.

How to be a part of the FINESMITH STYLE ABOUT..

1. Join the Finesmith group and be one of the followers of the blog and be updated for the latest release/new collections.

2. During stylings, wear atleast one item from Finesmith Jewelry. the rest of the styling to your choice(you may wear other designers jewelry as well, we support our fellow designers- its all about style) .

3. The Finesmith Jewelry style about… will be juried by designers, agency owners, photographers and more. Its a good exposure to all aspiring models to shine on the runway.

4. Every week there will be a theme. Before 9amslt, Friday of every week, research the subject and style the perfect outfit.

October 8: 1st week- steampunk – Winner Scarlett Loxingly
October 15: 2nd week- Kitsch – Winner BlackLiquid Tokyoska
October 22: 3rd week- Manierism – Winner Xenobia Foxclaw
October 29: 4th week- Surialism – Winner Leah Portland
November 5: 5th week- Classic – Winner Rissa Friller
November 12: 6th week- Avante Garde – Winner Elyna Carver
November 19: 7th week- Fetish – Winner Arisia Ashmooth
November 26: 8th week- White – Winner Kayma India
December 3: 9th week- Contemporary
December 10: 10th week- Fashion Icon
December 17: 11 th week Final week theme to be announced ( all the 10 winners will compete with each other in this week)

5. In a NC write your styling description and what inspired you to create that syle. Put in your modeling resume and rename the card (Example: Finesmith style about…- Yula Finesmith)Send your NCs to YULA FINESMITH until 6AM every friday. No NC no chance to show your stylings on the runway.

6. Contest will start OCTOBER 8 at 9am slt

7. ** The winner of the WEEKLY STYLINGS will have a chance to move on the finals

8. Please make sure the date for the final event is available for you in case you will be a finalist.
Attention: this contest is also casting to our Diva’s group- most of you will be invited to become a Finesmith Diva – this is a chance to represent finesmith in the store as live model and on our vendors, in fashion shows, inworld events, and print model for finesmith in the most known SL magazines.

Okay so one of my most beautiful friends Rissa Friller did a blog post about this new shoe designer called Purrfect 10 in SL. SO I HAD to go take a look. Well, I get there and decide, I better try the free pair first before I go buy anything cause LORD knows I have spent a lot of money on shoes I have never worn again because of various reasons; skin matching system, quality issues, and just plain difficult to deal with. So, I get the free, if in the group, gift; Denim, and play with all the options. Skin texture is EASY if you can get the RGB* color of your skin, walk sounds (please god turn them OFF), invisible layer off if you are using the alpha layer, and much more. I must admit I was instantly in love. SO, I bit the bullett and paid to join the VIP group which ran me about 510L. Now, normally I don’t “buy” into groups, its a fast way to make cash for a lot of not so good people in SL, BUT this is one of the few groups I decided was WELL worth it. I joined and was able to get TWO more pairs of shoes to go with my ALREADY free Denim, Leopard and Paisley. Again, I am IN LOVE! They are so amazing! 3 pairs of GREAT shoes for 510L! LOL Can’t go wrong! Be sure to head on down there and see all the other amazing shoes they have, they even have BOOTS! *swoons*

Time for a Change

So, I have been fumbling around trying to find THE skin I want. I have been using the BEAUTIFUL Garded Secret Barely There for some time and though I love it completely, I don’ t know if it is quite…”Model” enough. So I have gone to a few places, and had some of my dearest friends rip me apart and vote for some of the other skins I have liked. Well the top contenders seem to be from LAQ as well as my original from Garded Secret. So now, I ask of you all to give me YOUR vote…tell me which one you think best suits my face.
